Yeah, that's me you probably wondering how i end up in this situation...
As the meme implies, firstly slowly, and then suddenly.

Nothing came suddenly, we were just busy with other stuff while other global stuff happened all around us.. but we're financially exposed because of not only globalization but because reality is globalized if the event is big enough, there was no globalization during WW1 and WW2, not to the extend we now have it, companies could survive with a small hit if they were big enough elsewhere, now that's not the case, we need each other, maybe more than we should, but we do.

We have disruption of very essential goods like energy / fertilizers and we dont yet know exactly to what extend because it's still ongoing, you think you know, but you really dont.
Renewables are frankly a joke, they can help but they are not nuclear energy plants, people act like they are and that's because of yet another hype, i'm a supporter of its R&D but we dont really have a serious plan in Europe for actual production, unless you believe build as you go is a plan, if that's the case then Agile is the one true god for you.

Technically speaking the biggest power move we in Europe can play is yet another lockdown but unlike covid this will be an energy lockdown, by far worse if you ask me, this is literally worse in every possible way, because you're vulnerable beyond measure, it will help on paper since the crude prices will instanly or near instantly drop but it's not free either, you'd have the usual bankruptcies and debt accumulation maybe worse than the covid lockdown in terms of actual numbers, but they're willing to ignore that for the greater good, the problem is that nobody knows what's the move after that, not while this is an ongoing situation.

By that logic we will have a relatively "calm" summer but in September astonishing things will start happening.
